Dental Hygiene Educators Need to Stick Together!

Teaching is challenging enough, but dental hygiene instructors have special challenges. We know how to be great clinicians, and we probably remember a lot of what we learned from our dental hygiene education. How do we pass down our knowledge and experience to our future colleagues? Many of us begin teaching dental hygiene without any formal training on how to teach. I’m still learning how to be an effective teacher; it really is a science and an art. As I continue along on my journey, I want to share my successes with other educators, connect, and share ideas.
